Let me start by asking you all to think…just a little. Yes, you are going to have to think! Let’s start with this statement! We are what we repeatedly do. Take a moment and really think about that statement. “We are what we repeatedly do.” Are we in fact what we repeatedly do? Aristotle, the famous Greek philosopher, said “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.” Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit. Dieting is an act. A two-week fitness regimen is an act. What do you desire for yourself and what are you prepared to repeatedly do to attain excellence? What are you prepared to repeatedly do? Not just when you have an event, not just when you feel like it…when the spirit moves you. Repeatedly!

Keep that statement in your mind as I ask you some questions:

  • Are you satisfied with the way your body feels and performs?
  • How do you feel about your body and how it represents you?

If you are unhappy, embarrassed or frustrated with your body…how it feels or performs or how it represents you…consider how actively addressing, versus simply dwelling on these concerns could help you feel better about yourself.

The first step in making permanent life changes is recognizing that you may have some difficult choices to make. It’s easy to automatically keep doing things the way you have always done them, but if what you are doing is compromising your health or your life satisfaction then it may be time for a change. What happens when you keep doing the same thing? You keep getting the same thing. So, is it fair to say that to get something different, you must do differently? Now think back to the previous questions:

  • Are you satisfied with the way your body feels and performs?
  • How do you feel about your body and how it represents you?

When addressing those questions think TOTAL WELLBEING. Total wellbeing encompasses your mind, your emotions, your home, your relationships, your lifestyle and environment. If one area in your life is suffering, chances are the rest suffers too. Are there any areas in your life in which you are overindulgent at the expense of your personal health? Or perhaps under indulgent (lack of movement)? Are there any areas in your life in which you are overindulgent as the expense of your happiness? Or under indulgent (no down or alone time)? It is one thing to say you “should” do something, but it is another thing entirely to act when something is an “authentic desire”. What do you truly desire for yourself?

Every day you have choices to make—choices that will dictate your actions and these actions then will impact your life. You choose whether you want to make a change. You choose whether you want to be in control. You choose whether you want to speak positively about yourself. These choices are YOURS to make.

Living in a healthful manner is all about choice management. You are faced with making hundreds of decisions every day that impact your total wellbeing. Eat for my health or overindulge because you want to “enjoy life” (that is the worst excuse EVER)? Turn in to the gym parking lot or drive by? Take a walk or sit in front of the TV?

What you ultimately choose each and every time, regardless of how small the decision may seem, will either move you closer to your goals, take you further from your goals, or keep you right where you are. If we keep doing the same thing…we keep…getting the same thing. So, ask yourself, are the decisions I am making on a daily basis moving me closer to my goals, taking me further from my goals, or keeping me in the same place?

How do you achieve Success? Do the easy things. Success is neither magical nor mysterious. Success is the natural consequence of consistently applying the basic fundamentals. What IS difficult is heart attack, liver failure, diabetes, high blood pressure, dieting, disappointment; that is hard.

Everything we would ever need to become successful is within our reach. EatThatMonkey.TV is going to be your constant reminder. The major reason that so few take advantage of being successful is simply, neglect. The Easy things are also easy Not to do.

So when given the choice of “easy to” or “easy not to” do, what will you choose? Because that choice could potentially be life-changing.

EatThatMonkey.TV will aid and assist individuals to stand for excellence and enable them to gain clarity regarding their true goals and what they are willing to do to reach them.

Why EatThatMonkey.tv?

Because Life doesn't get Better...You DO!

This site is for everyone, regardless of age or gender; it is for the individual whose best is under construction and wants to lead a life of optimal health and true happiness. EatThatMonkey.tv is not about fad diets and one-size-fits-all fitness, it is about optimizing health and performance of Body (using the I.I.T Method), Mind (Got Monkey?) and Soul (food for the soul-because good health starts from the inside out). These elements don’t operate independently. We will also discuss real issues that real people face regarding body image, sleep, relationships, parenting, what happens behind closed doors, and all other things related to “life.”

I spent so many years hating my body and not accepting it as it was. To compensate for my horrible self-image and lack of self-esteem, I took fat burners, went on every ridiculous diet on the market, over exercised after binging, and even went so far as taking hypo-thyroid medication to lean down to manage an out-of-control over eating problem. I did myself a great deal of emotional and physical damage with that state of mind. My journey, my transformation has been a lot of trial and error. I live it every day. I am a human being that struggles with the same choices as everyone else and knows how to facilitate change and create a life of total wellness.

Through a great deal of self-analysis and personal responsibility I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and become a better version of myself. The road was not always smooth and it took a significant amount of effort, but every step along the way has been worth every ounce of tears, sweat, and effort that I put in. Now, I want YOU to reach down deep and find the desire to uncover and unleash the most amazing version of yourself!
